There are some girls basketball uniforms from 2014-2022 that are up for grabs. We would like to give former players first chance to get the uniform they wore. If we still have some after June, we will give them away.
Former players from that time period: contact Coach Melissa St. Gemme for your uniform or call the school.

Congratulations to all of the students who received High Honors all four quarters. Great job!!

The district baseball game scheduled for today has been rescheduled. The game will now be played tomorrow at 12pm at Oak Ridge.

Biology and 8th grade science got their hands dirty with dissections to wrap up the year! Beef hearts, kidneys, sheep brains, sheep eyes, mussels, perch, crayfish, grasshoppers, earthworms, and sand dollars were on the menu for this year's smorgasbord!

Lost and Found is out of control. Does any of this look familiar? After the students leave tomorrow anything left will be disposed of. Thanks!

The baseball games scheduled for today at Bismarck and tomorrow at home vs Scott City have been cancelled.
The next game will be the first round of districts on Thursday, May 9th at 4pm vs Delta. Districts will be at Oak Ridge.

Sadly, the weather isn't going to cooperate for planting this year, so the science dept has tons of plants for trade. We are ISO potting soil, prepackaged seeds, and/or cash donations for supplies for next year. Mixed tomatoes, arugula, lettuce mix, sweet bell peppers & marigolds

Wednesday, May 8th is the last day of school.
Elementary pickups at 11:15am at the elementary doors.
Buses will leave at 11:30am.

It has been a busy day at LES! We've accomplished Play Day, End of Year Awards Ceremony, and Kindergarten Graduation all in one day. Our hearts are full, we're proud of all our students, and we are ready for summer.

It's looking like Play Day will probably need to be inside tomorrow due to all the rain. If that happens K-2 will do all of their events (except hoop shoot) in the gym first. They will start at 8:15. When they are finished (approximately 9:30) 3-6 will complete then we will all come back together to do the hoop shoot. Come watch your student(s) run, throw, jump, and cheer them on!

The Living Wax Museum was a huge success today! The 7th and 8th graders went above and beyond putting their exhibits together this year.
I am so proud of their hard work and creativity! ❤️Mrs. Chilton

Our elementary students had a blast at MAP Carnival today! Thank you to all our staff that make this event possible. A special shoutout to G's Ice + Cream for serving up delicious treats. We work hard and we play hard!

Spring Concert was a success!! Thank you for all the support shown to our Music Department.

K-2nd grade have been rewarded this week for their hard work on their end of the year testing. Monday they got treasure chest prizes, a snack, and made summer flags. Today was a picnic lunch with the principal and Thursday will be an extra recess!

Five of our preschool students earned a shopping trip to Dollar General for getting their names on the ABC Wall of Fame. These young scholars can identify all upper and lower case letters. Great job, Millie, Dixie, Vanessa, Courtnee, and Gordon!!

Bake Sale and Silent Auction!!
Brownies, cookies, 3 types of whoopie pies, Rice Krispy treats, donuts, cupcakes and more to be sold at the concession stand. Some of the auction items include: German Chocolate cake, maple bacon bundt cake, banana cream pie, and possibly more. Come out and support the Music Department and enjoy the Spring Concert!

The home baseball game scheduled for today has been cancelled due to the poor field conditions.

The high school counselor wants to remind all 2024 graduates to check their scholarship folders for instructions on how to receive their scholarships. Instructions are glued to the inside of the folders.

Calling all willing bakers!

Despite the drizzle this afternoon, the 2nd raised garden bed is up thanks to Mr. Haus! These two beautiful cedar beds are ready to be filled with rock, compost, and top soil! Just in time for our plant babies to move outside. 👩🏼🌾🌱🍅🧅🥬❤️
