Our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders who scored proficient or advanced on last year's MAP tests were rewarded with a trip to Sky Zone on Thursday. Great job, we are very proud of you!
Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade took a walk to the town library for story time with Mrs. Lynn! They had a blast!

REMINDER:
Today students will be brining home over-the-counter med forms to be filled out and signed. These are unable to be filled out online. A hard copy with a signature is REQUIRED.

Chromebooks will be available for early pickup on Thursday, August 20th from 12-2pm.
In order to get your Chromebook, the following must be completed:
1. Complete the online enrollment including all user agreements.
2. Pay for Chromebook insurance (or opt out of the insurance). You can pay for insurance at the high school office.

Students in grades 7-12
This is not a school sponsored activity, but a volunteer opportunity to give back to our community. You can earn hours for Beta and/or Cats+.
JH Girls and Boys Basketball practice for 5th-8th grade will start next Tuesday, August 18th from 3:00 - 4:30pm. Immediately following the practice will be a parent meeting in the cafeteria.
Attention any student who is interested in playing Fall baseball :
There will be a short practice at the baseball field from 4:30-5:30pm on Monday, August 10th, Tuesday, August 11th, and Wednesday, August 12th.
We are excited to announce that Lesterville School district qualifies for free meals for all students for the 2026-2027 school year. This opportunity is through a federal program called the Community Eligibility Provision. There are no individual applications to fill out. All students are automatically qualified. This does not erase any existing lunch bills that were left unpaid from previous years. Those amounts will carry forward, but no new charges will be added.
Transition to an alternate pickup location has been quicker than expected.
Water will remain outside at Lesterville School, all other food and supplies will be available at the Catholic Church in Lesterville.
Hours for supplies and food pickup at the Church are:
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 17th-19th 8am-4pm
After that, we will post the days and hours of availability.
