FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS March 23, 2022. Any student who will be playing sports during the 2022-2023 school year, will need a current physical on file. If your student needs a physcial they can pick up a form at the high school or elementary office. These forms need to be filled out and returned no later than March 21st. Students will be scheduled a time out of class for the physical.

The 2022 elementary math bowl teams competed in Ellington today. They are playing games and winning door prizes as they wait for the results of their competitions.

Math Fun Bowl is tomorrow. Participants need to wear their shirt from the Academic Bowl. If you don't already have one Mrs.Dana will give it to you tomorrow at school. Good luck!!

Today we celebrated our February Student of the Month group. Great job! Tyler Woody, Daniel Crocker, Roman Lanham, Damien Woods, Winston Twomey, Elijah Thomas (not pictured), Aliana Heath, and Stella Jordan

Mrs. Chilton’s STEM class began brainstorming ideas for their “Shark Tank” proposals. They are looking for the next great invention to pitch to our panel of investors.



Mrs. Chilton’s 8th grade science class spent some time outdoors studying the biotic and abiotic factors of a sample ecosystem. They collected organisms to view under the microscope and data about each population of species in the community.

March Mammal Madness 2022 bracket is up! Mrs. Chilton and Mrs. Womble’s classes will be competing against each other in a bracket challenge. Mrs. Womble’s biology class is also competing against Mrs. Neece’s biology class in Ellington. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Mrs. Chilton’s Physical Science students are creating their own Rube Goldberg machines to demonstrate the relationship of Newton’s laws, force, energy, and work

Elementary had a great time celebrating Dr.Suess's birthday with our Scoop on Reading Day! We wore our pajamas, had guest readers, amazing cookies, and ice cream! Thanks to everyone who made this such a fun day!

PreK had has some very special readers and visitors-a goat and a donkey- today for our Scoop on Reading Day!


The Daddy/Daughter dance is scheduled for March 12th 6-8 PM for girls in grades preschool-sixth grade. Please remember to return the permission slip as soon as possible.
There are some necessary changes to the school calendar due to days missed. March 11 will now be a full day and will be the last day of the third quarter. March 18 will be a half day and will be the new date for Parent Teacher Conferences. As of right now, the last day of school will be May 10 with a dismissal at 12:25. Please mark your calendar accordingly.
Attention Lesterville HS Votech Students: On Monday, February 28th, Votech is having the Skills USA competition. Only those students competing will need to go, therefore we are not sending a bus. All other Votech students not competing need to be at school by 11:30am.
Reminder that JH and HS Spring Baseball practices start tomorrow, February 28th. JH will practice after school until 4:45pm, and HS will practice until 6pm.
