
The Daddy/Daughter dance is scheduled for March 12th 6-8 PM for girls in grades preschool-sixth grade. Please remember to return the permission slip as soon as possible.

There are some necessary changes to the school calendar due to days missed. March 11 will now be a full day and will be the last day of the third quarter. March 18 will be a half day and will be the new date for Parent Teacher Conferences. As of right now, the last day of school will be May 10 with a dismissal at 12:25. Please mark your calendar accordingly.

Attention Lesterville HS Votech Students: On Monday, February 28th, Votech is having the Skills USA competition. Only those students competing will need to go, therefore we are not sending a bus. All other Votech students not competing need to be at school by 11:30am.

Reminder that JH and HS Spring Baseball practices start tomorrow, February 28th. JH will practice after school until 4:45pm, and HS will practice until 6pm.

Congratulations to Piper Fitzgerald, Reese Gray, Nolan Mathes, and Grace Hicks. These four Bearcats were selected to the All-District teams for Class 1 District 3. Way to go!!

PeeWee games for tomorrow, February 26th, have been canceled.

There will be no school on Friday, February 25 due to hazardous road conditions.

Due to incoming Winter weather, Lesterville school will be dismissing early today, Wednesday, February 23. Elementary pickup students will be dismissed at 11:15. Busses will depart school at 11:30.

Nolan Mathes scored 28 points tonight in his final game as a Bearcat. He now has 1,529 career points, making him the new scoring leader for boys basketball at Lesterville High School. Congratulations Nolan! 🔴⚫️🐾


The Lesterville FBLA members attended the District Leadership Conference at Mineral Area College on Saturday, Feb. 19th, and came home with medals in several events. Congratulations to you all!!



The Lady Bearcats defeated St. Paul in the semifinals of the Class 1 District 3 tournament. They will play for a district championship on Thursday, February 24th at 6pm. Come out and show your support. Go Bearcats! 🔴⚫️🐾

Correction to an earlier post: Holden Laughman (2020), scored 1,501 points as a Bearcat. Nolan’s 22 points today gave him 1,501 career points, tying Holden’s record as the boys basketball scoring leader.

The boys basketball team picked up a win today vs St. Paul in the opening round of districts. The next game will be Tuesday, February 22nd vs South Iron at Bunker at 6pm.

There will be no Pee Wee basketball practice today. Also, there will be no Math Fun Bowl tutoring. Thanks!

Lesterville School will be dismissing at 12:25 today, Thursday, February 17. We will also not be in session tomorrow, Friday, February 18. We already have Monday, February 21 off for President's Day. There is the potential for incoming winter weather later this afternoon as well as flooding. In addition, our attendance this week has already been extremely low due to sickness. Our hope is that we can get healthy. We look forward to seeing everyone next Tuesday.
