The Jr. Beta bus will be back in Lesterville about 5:00pm. Students will call/text parents when they get to Ellington.

Kaiden Mathes placed 4th in the 7th grade social studies competition at state convention and Jarett Meredith is your STATE CHAMPION in 8th grade social studies! These boys will travel to Kentucky this summer to compete at Nationals. We are so proud of both of you!

February Students of the Month had icecream and gummy worms with Mrs.Mathes on Friday morning! Congratulations Miracle, Amelia, Jase, Liam, Winston, Gavin, Tristan, and Aubrey!! Keep up the good work!


Kindergarten enjoyed being leaders today in music by determining movement to music. Stop, walk, skip, jog, tip-toe and dance with a friend!





We are so thankful and appreciative of Nurse Theresa and all she does to help keep students and staff healthy!


3rd grade started an Agricultural program today! Our specific topic today was learning about corn. They learned about corn's anatomy, how it is harvested, and the different types of corn grown in Missouri!





Next week LES will be celebrating Dr.Seuss's birthday week with Wacky Week. Can't wait to see all the great participation!



4th graders were electrifying with their electrical circuits in science! They each tested different objects to determine if that material was an insulator or conductor.






5th grade learning what peer pressure is and the results of good and bad pressure. Thank you to the awesome Officer McCarty!
