It has been a BIG day at LES today! We started with Play Day where all the kids competed in different events and were so good about cheering for their friends. Then, we celebrated all our achievements throughout the year with our Awards Assembly. We have so many smart, hard working students. Finally, we ended the evening with Kindergarten Graduation. These students have learned so much this year and are going to do great in first grade. Congratulations to all our students on a fantastic year!

Preschool Graduation was today. We are all so proud of how hard this group of kids worked this year! Congratulations Lucille, Heidi, Kaylie, Atticus, Bayne, and Paislee!

Last Day of School, 05/09/23...We will be dismissing at 11:15AM.

7th and 8th grade fun at the MAP Carnival. They braved the chilly temps to splash in the water slides. Overall, it was a great day to celebrate and just have some fun. Thank you to Rylee's Sweet Treats for bringing some delicious goodies to the carnival this year.

The Junior Class wrote "How-to" essays in English III and then presented them to the class. Afterwards, students either shared a video of themselves completing their task or they performed it during class time. Here are a few of the things we learned how to do.

We had a great time decorating our pillow cases in first grade.

3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade had a blast at MAP Carnival today!! They braved the water slides, played games, had ice cream, and snacks. It was a well deserved afternoon of fun for how hard these students worked during MAP testing! Special shout out to Rylee's Sweet Treats for coming to school to serve all kinds of goodies.

Congratulations to the Students of the Month for April!! We are so proud of you!

I got to take some very special preschoolers on a trip to Dollar General for a toy and some candy today. Lulu, Kaylie, Paislee, Atticus, Heidi, and Lucille all got their name on the ABC Wall of Fame and this was their reward for their hard work. They were so sweet, respectful, and patient while we were shopping. What a great group of kids!

The local VFW came to teach our 1st through 3rd graders about respecting the American Flag for Patriotic Day.
