Bearcat Weekly Calendar

Due to low numbers, we will not be able to have a Fall baseball team this year. As of now, we have not canceled the spring season and will continue to work on plans to try and offer baseball for that season.

Attention 7-12th grade Students/Parents: If you have completed the online registration and would like to pick up your Chromebook early, you may do so on Friday, August 15th from 1-3pm. If you want to purchase Chromebook insurance, you will need to pay before you will receive your Chromebook. Student Drivers: If you will be parking on the school lot and would like to get your parking spot prior to the first day of school, you may do so on Friday, August 15th from 1-3pm in the high school office. You must have the online registration completed and all necessary documentation uploaded prior to receiving your parking pass. If you have questions, please call the high school office at 573-637-2201.

Attention Senior Athletes - Senior banner pictures will be taken on Wednesday, August 13th at 1pm in the gym.

Student Council spent three days at the TRACTION Conference in Cape Girardeau completing team building activities, learning the dangers of distracted and impaired driving, and discovering ways to encourage their family, friends, and peers to buckle up and put their phones down while driving. They also created a custom action plan to bring back to their community.

We are excited to share that all necessary school supplies have been purchased for the upcoming school year! We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who contributed. In the near future, we will be posting a list of donors to acknowledge and express our gratitude for your generous support.

Roman Lanham is bringing some hardware back to Lesterville from the National Jr. Beta Convention! Roman received 9th place at Nationals in black & white photography. Go Roman, we are so proud of you!

🏀Attention LHS girls going into grades 9-12 next year 🏀 If you are interested in playing basketball next year, there will be a meeting in the school cafeteria on Monday, July 7th at 6pm. If you cannot make the meeting, but are interested in playing, please call the school and let them know.

Reminder: Today is the special election to fill the vacant seat on the Lesterville School Board. Please get out, vote, and support your school.

We want to wish the best to our three retirees - Debbie White, Cecile Goodman, and Tina Mathes. You all have been such great assets to the Bearcat family and we will miss each one of you. Enjoy retirement and good luck in the next chapter of your life.

2025 JH/HS Year End Awards Congratulations to all of our students who had High Honors all 4 quarters. Congratulations to Daniel Crocker who had Perfect Attendance! Congratulations to our Best Overall JH and HS Students - Roman Lanham, Jarett Meredith, Rylee Laughman, and Aubrey Hill. What an amazing year we had at LHS. Have a good summer, be careful, and we'll see you all next year.
